Diviz: A software for modeling, processing and sharing algorithmic workflows in MCDA
نویسندگان
چکیده
In this paper we describe diviz, a software for modeling, processing and sharing Multiple Criteria Decision Aid (mcda) techniques and experiments. One of its main features is the possibility to design complex mcda algorithms by combining elementary calculation components via an intuitive graphical user interface. The target user community of diviz reaches from researchers to teachers, students and mcda practitioners. The diviz software also eases the comparison of results produced by different algorithms on the same decision problem instance and facilitates the dissemination of mcda methods and experiments.

Diviz: an Mcda Workflow Design, Execution and Sharing Tool
The diviz software is a tool for designing, executing and sharing Multiple Criteria Decision Aid (MCDA) techniques. The target user community of diviz reaches from researchers who require to construct algorithmic workflows of elementary MCDA components to teachers who need to present MCDA methods and let their students experiment them. Besides, one of the principal features of diviz is to ease ...
متن کاملIllustrating the support of the MCDA process by the diviz workbench
In this chapter, we illustrate how the MCDA process can be supported by the use of a decision aid software called diviz. The diviz workbench allows to build, execute and share complex workflows of MCDA algorithms, and as such, is a convenient tool to help the analyst to perform the decision aid process. We start by a presentation of diviz, before switching to the detailed description of a ficti...
متن کاملSelected Initiatives of the Decision Deck Project
The objective of the Decision Deck project is to collaboratively develop open-source software tools implementing Multiple Criteria Decision Aid (mcda) techniques. This chapter presents three selected initiatives from this project, namely the XMCDA data standard, the XMCDA web-services and the diviz software, which altogether enable to test and combine various mcda algorithms via a unified data ...
متن کاملA data model for algorithmic multiple criteria decision analysis
Various software tools implementing Multiple Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA) methods have appeared over the last decades. Although MCDA methods share common features, most of the implementing software have been developed independently from scratch. Majority of the tools have a proprietary storage format and exchanging data among software is cumbersome. Common data exchange standard would be u...
